Our Best Lineup + What’s Wrong
Though I wasn’t able to add context in yesterday’s article because of the work we’ve been doing on the BasketBall Draft Kit. I was able to end up in the green. That makes me 2/2 in my feature articles and I intend to keep the streak going this week.
Lineup Number 1:
Lineup Number Two:
Line up Number 3
In a contest with 536,250 people, I feel pretty good about the best lineup of last week ending up in 7,687th. How long is it gonna be until we crack the top 100? If you end up with a great finish or have an idea for a lineup you can send it to kicktosscatch@gmail.com and I’ll feature it in the next article.
What’s Wrong?
Derrick Henry: 27 carries for 178 yards and 3 TD
Not having Derick Henry in any of my lineups last week wasn’t my best moment. He ended being about 7% owned in FanDuel contests so a lot of people didn’t believe that Henry would dust the Colts for 178 yards and 3 TD. It stings looking at lineups with Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt, Nyheim Hines and Mike Davis knowing that I could’ve fit the big man somewhere. I’m sure defender’s feel a similar pain the day after they play against this Titans run attack.
Dalvin Cook: 18 carries for 61 yards, 4 receptions for 21 yards. No Touchdown.
Being fair to Dalvin he did get injured in the 3rd quarter, but it’s not like he was having an amazing game on the ground prior to him leaving the game. Definitely not enough to justify his higher than Christian McCaffery pricing. We’ll see later in the week how serious Dalvin’s injury is, and what Alexander Mattison’s value will become as a result of it.
Alvin Kamara: 11 carries for 54 yards and a reception for -2 yards. No Touchdowns.
Just an image for Kamara this week because he didn’t have any highlights. The only thing I can really say here is that I will be most likely be including Latavius Murray in lineups this week. Taysom Hill is not the QB for Kamara, he should be a low end RB1 to high end RB2 for the rest of the season.
Mike Davis: 15 carries for 55 yards. Caught 3 of 6 targets for 24 yards. No Touchdowns
With CMC most likely coming back next week this was Mikey D’s last chance to show some fantasy value. Against the Vikings however he was splitting snaps with Trenton Cannon and Rodney Smith, which definitely hampered his fantasy production. McCaffery owners can finally rejoice that the panthers obviously haven’t given up on the season, making them more willing to put CMC on the field in the coming weeks.
Kareem Hunt: 10 carries for 55 yards
Although I saw this as being a Chubb heavy game, and mostly didn’t include Hunt. I still believe his game was worthy of a little picture. Hunt brought a 0.9% value on his return on his 6,600 dollar salary and made me feel silly. With Chubb coming back to his complete role, and the Browns starting to pick up steam against a weakening schedule, I have questions about what Hunts usage will look like through the playoffs.
Cooper Kupp: Caught 2 of 5 targets for 41 yards
Bro, what were you doing out there?
