Selling Out For The Sunday Million

Before we review the results of my DFS lineups from the Patriots and Rams game, I would like to highlight community member and friend of kicktosscatch Garrett Lassabe. Garret is a long time DFS player who was able to have a very impressive Thursday.

Congratulations Garrett! Thank you sending your lineup. If you want your lineups highlighted you can send them to us on social media, or kicktosscatch@gmail.com. I’m excited for more highlighted lineups like Garrett’s in the future that completely blows mine out of the water.

Here are the results from yesterday’s Thursday Million:

Once again I was a player or two off from getting into the prize pool tier that forces you to buy money bags. Those sort of big paydays are coming soon. Although, this may be an anticipation that is mostly felt because I have already bought said money bags. Regardless I’m excited to be doing the Sunday Million again as it is continually the contest that I seem to the best in.

Sunday Million Lineup 1:

Tom Brady: I’m expecting a big week from the Bucs passing game coming off a bye. Tom-pa bay was been embarrassed in their last couple weeks of outings. This Sunday they get to face a weak Vikings secondary with an extra week to prepare. The Vikings are only a game behind the Bucs, and have been closing in on their playoff spot. The Buccaneers need a win this week to differentiate themselves from the pack and lock up their playoff spot.

JD McKissic: With Gibson out for this game it’s time for McKissic to return to his midseason form. The 49ers defense has been able to generate a nice pass rush for the past four weeks, allowing them to pressure Alex Smith. With Smith’s tendency to dump it off to his running backs McKissic has a floor of 6 targets.

Austin Ekeler: Ekeler is still vastly too underpriced for me to ignore him here. He’s going against a tough rushing Falcons rushing defense, but his ability to catch passes out the backfield could allow him to still have rb1 fantasy production.

Breshad Perriman: With Mims out for the Jets either Perriman or Jamison Crowder will have a big fantasy day against the Seahawks. Perriman is the downfield guy, and the cheaper option. Because of his pricing, Perriman only needs to put up an average performance to set up a return on investment.

Chris Godwin: Evans has been Brady’s redzone target on the year. That and injuries has caused Godwin to struggle on the year to have consistent fantasy production. This week he should be lining up against Jeff Gladney, the Vikings rookie from TCU who hasn’t shown the ability to cover elite NFL wide receivers. Godwin should stretch the field against this struggling Vikings secondary.

Mike Williams: The Falcons have a good rushing defense, but they do not have a good passing defense. Justin Herbert has been kept under wraps as of late, but he’s likely to unleash this weak against Atlanta. Williams should be more efficient with his targets this week.

Travis Kelce: The Baller Darren Waller showed us all last week how hard it is to catch up when you have a positional advantage in the tight end slot. I’m paying up this week for Kelce, who has been consistent not only over the season, but also over his career. With the Dolphins secondary doing their best to stop Mahomes wide receivers, the linebackers should struggle to stop Kelce.

D’andre Swift: Swift may not play this week, so I’ll be sure to include an update if he misses this Sunday’s game. With Patricia gone, Swift is going to be the workhorse back, if he is healthy. The Lions don’t have a lot of options outside of Swift on the offensive side of the ball. Should he play, Swift will see a lot of work on the ground and in the passing game.

Saints: Jalen Hurts has a tough start this week against this Saints defense. Hurts may be in for a disaster in his first NFL start. This Eagle’s offensive line is still just as bad as it has been on the season, My biggest defensive victories so far have been in targeted this Eagle’s team and none of the matchups before were as opportune as this.

Sunday Million Lineup 2:

Kyler Murray: Kyler is priced down because he’s facing the Giants this week, who just shutdown Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. Kyler is also coming off back to back disappointing finishes. Partly because Kyler’s injured shoulder, and partly because they faced the Patriots and Rams. Murray and the Cardinals have lost the last three games in a row. This a must win game if the Cards are to keep their playoff hopes alive. Murray is two weeks removed from his shoulder injury, and should see some of his fantasy value return on the ground.

Derrick Henry: I’m too afraid to take Henry out of my lineups. This is the time of year where the king starts to feast. It didn’t work for me last week, but my allegiance to Henry is unwavering.

Amari Cooper: This Cowboys and Bengals game has shoot out potential. Cooper has been Dalton’s first look in the offense since he stepped on the field. Amari’s target share makes him the only Cowboy that I’m even considering.

Mike Evans: Said reasons I listed for Brady and Godwin. Evans is Brady’s redzone look so if Tampa Bay drives down field, Evans is probably leaving with a touchdown.

Jonnu Smith: Henry is most likely capping Smith’s production. Smith is in the lineup because he’s at one of his cheapest prices on the season and he had 22 FanDuel points the last time that he played the Jaguars this season.

Giovanni Bernard: Brandon Allen looks better than Ryan Finley, but neither of the Bengals quarterbacks are all that exciting. The only score from the Bengals last week was a 75 yard bomb to Tyler Boyd. The Cowboys are the worst defense in the league, meaning that the Bengals can move the ball up field and run it in on the goal line.

Chiefs Defense: Kansas City’s defense has been stingy against the pass all year. Tua is a good quarterback, but he isn’t much more of a game manager for the Dolphins. The Chiefs are tough matchup for the rookie, adding up to a gamescript to where we can anticipate a lot of turnovers.

Sunday Million Lineup 3:

Wayne Gallman Jr: Bruce Wayne Gallman has done an excellent job at filling in for the injured Saquon Barkley. It’s still unclear whether Colt McCoy or Daniel Jones is going to be starting for the Giants this weekend. Either way, the Giants will probably look to their running game when they get into scoring situations. Gallman has continued to leave each of the games he enters with touchdown and I expect this week to be no different.

DK Metcalf: This one can be kept short. The Jet’s don’t have the talent to cover someone of Metcalf’s size and skill set. The Seahawks are coming off of bad losses and are looking for revenge against any team that stands in their way this week.

Miles Gaskin: The Chiefs might have a pretty good passing defense but they’re currently ranked 27th against the rush. Gaskin was able to have a good showing in his first game back last week. Healthier this week, Gaskin should find his way to the end zone against Kansas City.

Panthers: This defense is a lower priced value played. Carolina has a pretty weak defense but the Broncos have a worse offense.

Sunday Million Lineup 4:

Andy Dalton: If this game does end up becoming a shoot out then I would want exposure to a Andy Dalton/Amari Cooper stack. Dalton is coming to a revenge game against his longtime team. The Cowboys aren’t trying to lose games for draft picks, they still want to win the division. That means this game could be passing heavy for Dallas, even if they’re slightly ahead.

Tim Patrick: Patrick is the only Bronco’s offensive player that I’m interested in this week. He keeps managing to hit paydirt, and Unless the Broncos are massively ahead the panther passing attack will force the Broncos to pass the ball.

Antonio Brown: Insurance, in case Brown has the big fantasy day over Godwin.

Texans: High risk defensive options. David Montgomery might end up making this defense unplayable, but as long as Houston can hold him on the ground, then this terrible Chicago offense will start to rear is ugly head.
