The FanDuel Lineups of the Week

  • Playing Taysom Hill, a Quarterback, at tight end is basically cheating. Tight end is so decimated this year that the chance of paying up and busting is high. Hill is no different, and has been a touchdown dependent option in DFS all season. The big difference is: Brees is out and Taysom just took all the first team reps at practice today over Jameis Winston. This means for $4,500 you can get a second quarterback on your roster. Hill costs $2,000 less than Mark Andrews, and $200 less than Jack Doyle who is OUT. Its a low price to turn your TE spot into a superflex.

  • Tua at $6,700 is ridiculous. Sandwiched between Drew Lock at $6,000 who probably won’t play this Sunday and Sam Darnold at $6,600 who isn’t playing this Sunday. I’m willing to bet that Tua is going to play better than the two people who aren’t stepping foot on the field. Tagovailoa has had some middling fantasy performances but for two good reasons. He’s played the Rams, Cardinals, and Chargers over the last three games, and they’ve been running the ball at a high clip to ease the pressure off the rookie. The Broncos defense is much worse than their last three matchups, granted they have been banged up all year. the Broncos currently have the 25th ranked defense in the league according to pro-football-reference.com

  • Kamara will finish the season as the RB 1, unless he doesn’t finish the season. With a questionable tag heading into the game Kamara is a risky play. If he ends up sitting this game against the Falcons out, Latavious Murray is the next immediate play. His replacement will only end up costing you $5,000 which should free up some room for you to spend up on WRs.

  • The Steelers defense has the second highest pass rush win rate in the league at 55%. The only team that is ahead of the currently is that Atlanta Falcons who boast a 56% success rate while rushing the passer. They also blitz on 51.2% of plays. This doesn’t even take into account how good the Steelers have been against both the pass and run. Jake Luton scored 9.76 Fanduel points against the Packers last week, and should look to have a tougher day against this terrifying Steelers defense.

  • Henry’s ownership could be down this week, as you have to pay up for him while he dukes it out against a very stout Ravens defense. The Ravens are no strangers to Henry’s rushing ability and unique size. They were able to watch stunned from the sidelines of last years AFC Title Game as their defense was unable to tackle the 6’3 230 pound back. They tried to add an answer to the Titan’s rushing attack this offseason by signing the 6’8 300 pound Defensive End Calais Campbell. Unfortunately for the Ravens he’s been cleared from the game, leaving them to rely on their linebackers Yannick Ngakoue and rookie Patrick Queen

  • Dalvin Cook may be everyone’s first thought but the only thing the Cowboys have on defense is a front seven. He’s also the most expensive player on Fanduel costing you $10,500. Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen have the matchup of their dreams this Sunday against a terrible Cowboy’s secondary. The Vikings offense is a target funnel. Almost every play revolves around either Cook, Thielen, or Jefferson. This line up is designed to win big if Cook disappoints or the Vikings look to open up this game through the air.

  • Murray is here because he should see an increased workload and the goal line work even if Kamara plays. However, this Falcons run defense is one of the toughest in the league. Murray is a big risk, and not one you have to take. His value goes through the roof if Kamara doesn’t play however.

  • The Eagles can’t get anything going offensively because this offensive line has been struggling all year, and Carson Wentz doesn’t know how to throw the ball away. This should be a huge mismatch for the Browns defensive line. There’s a genuine chance that Miles Garrett ends up eating Wentz alive on national TV.

  • Jonnu is an expensive option if you don’t think that Taysom Hill will succeed, but you’re probably better off believing. Jonnu has been leading all TEs in touchdowns this year. This is mostly because the Titans have run a lot of play action around the goal line, faking the ball to Henry and flipping it to Jonnu. Jonnu may become the number one passing option this Sunday as the WRs battle touch Cornerback matchups on the edge
