One Lineup To Rule Them All
As a Timberwolves fan and someone who has been infatuated with Lamelo Ball since he was playing with Chino Hills, I hoped the Wolves would take Melo. On the night of the draft, I wore my stained and beat up Vytautas Prienu jersey, Lamelo’s Lithuanian team, hoping that Big Baller Brand was on its way to Minnesota.
I guess I should’ve remembered that it was the Timberwolves and Minnesota.
Lamelo Ball: Today, I remember who the Timberwolves are. KAT’s return will be overshadowed by the rookie drafted by another historically bad franchise.
Ja Morant: Ja is still returning to 100%, but the Lakers get everyone’s best shot. Tonight seems like a good opportunity to increase the minutes of the young and rising star.
Donovan Mitchell: This Jazz squad has been humming, in spite of Shaq’s best attempt to throw them off at halftime. I’m hoping that tonight they take out their anger on another big man.
Gary Trent Jr.: Gray Trent and Ener Kanter have soaked up fantasy points in the absence of McCollum and Nurkic.
Gordan Hayward: The Timberwolves are bad™
RJ Barrett: Wizards don’t play defense. Thibodeau will play Barret for high minutes and yell meaninglessly from the sidelines while Barret crashes to the rim.
Jarrett Allen: Allen has flourished in his new role, and as long as Kevin Love stays on the sidelines he will be a cost-effective play for rosters.
Darius Bazley: Bazley is a classic Melekh hit or miss option™
Mitchell Robinson: Has to fight for rebounds against the Wizards. Also has to fight with himself to not get into foul trouble, early in the game.
